Region 8 members attend the North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia Civil and Human Rights Awards Banquet. Director of UAW Civil and Human Rights Lakeisha Becton was the keynote speaker, former Director of Civil and Human Rights and UAW CAP Melvin Coleman was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award as well as former North Carolina AFL-CIO, President James Andrews.
